Butter & Love — Quivertree Publications, 2017

Caro Alberts is a South African food stylist, culinary producer, recipe developer and chef with a passion for bringing food stories to life.

Blending technical culinary expertise with a refined creative eye, she has built a career creating beautiful, approachable food for television, advertising campaigns, editorial publications and leading food brands.

With experience spanning food styling, creative direction, recipe development and on-screen presenting, Caro has worked across a diverse range of productions, from commercial advertising and television series to branded content and digital media. She is also the host of a multi-season Afrikaans cooking show, where she shares her love of seasonal ingredients, home cooking and South African flavours with audiences across the country.

As a freelance culinary producer and stylist, Caro collaborates with agencies, photographers, publishers and brands to create compelling food content that is both visually striking and practical. Her work combines meticulous attention to detail with a deep understanding of how food should look, feel and connect with people.

Whether she is styling a national advertising campaign, developing recipes for publication, producing a food shoot or preparing an intimate private dining experience, Caro believes that great food is about more than taste — it is about creating moments, telling stories and bringing people together.
